Players must be registered with the B.C.M.C.L. to be covered by the policy.

The plan covers all participants, managers, coaches, executives and field officials throughout the entire season.

Players are covered at games and at practice.

The policy covers medical costs incurred over and above those normally covered by BC Medical or similar insurance up to $10,000 per accident/per person.  This policy does not cover basic medical costs if an individual does not have B.C. Medical or similar insurance coverage.

Dental treatment resulting from injury to whole and sound teeth is covered up to $1,000.

Medical and/or Dental treatment due to an accident must be completed within 52 weeks from the date of the accident.

Players are covered throughout British Columbia and also when playing in Seattle.  (Seattle players are not included in the B.C.M.C.L. policy but are covered by a different policy.)

Third party liability is $5,000,000. 

Note: The policy does not cover damage to cricketers', both players and officials' cars.
